Red Cross Certified Lifeguards: starting pay $10.25 per hour
Looking for a fun summer job? Swanson pool is looking for enthusiastic, motivated & dependable Red Cross Certified Lifeguards. This is a summer position, Pool opens for Season on May 25th & closes on September 2nd.
Employee must be at least 15 years of age or older.

First Aid Certified
Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
This position may require early mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, evening, holidays(Memorial day. 4th of July and Labor Day) and/or weekend responsibilities.
Essential Job responsibilities
Lifeguards will assist with guarding during swim team practices, swim meets events, swim lessons and guarding pool during normal business hours.
Responsible for guarding the pool and maintaining a safe environment for members.
Enforces pool rules & procedures
Ensure a safe, fun area for children and adults to interact and enjoy.
Keep pool deck free of obstructions
Administers necessary First Aid & CPR
Handles parent/member complaints
Clean restrooms, clubhouse, front desk area & pool deck etc.
Assist with checking in Members & guest
Assist with vending sales
Maintains pool headcount
Checks and records pool temperature/air temperature and chemicals
Enforces rules & regulations
Enforces safety standards and follows emergency procedures
Ensures State of Indiana Department of Health requirements are met
Performs any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation
Assisting with yard work such as mowing, sweeping sidewalks
To be considered for employment at Swanson Highlands Pool, all training and certifications must be current by May 12, 2019. Proper documentation is required. Certifications required include: CPR, First Aid & Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
